New Exclusive Sanodos: Ube Toast & Panko Aubergine Sando

London, UK—Panadera, the beloved café known for its specialty drinks, artisanal sandos, and signature pandesal bread, is thrilled to announce the opening of its newest location, Panadera Marylebone, on Friday, September 6th, 2024. The new site, located at 7 Picton Place in the heart of Central London, marks an exciting milestone in Panadera's journey, bringing its unique blend of Filipino-inspired flavours and modern café culture to a new neighbourhood.

To celebrate the grand opening, Panadera Marylebone will debut two exclusive sandos, available only at the new Marylebone site. These innovative additions to the menu reflect Panadera’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of flavour and creativity while staying true to its Filipino roots.

New Exclusive Sandos:

  1. Panko Aubergine Sando
    A fresh addition to Panadera’s vegetarian range, the Panko Aubergine Sando features thick slices of aubergine, breaded in panko and perfectly fried. These crispy, golden slices are paired with sun-dried tomatoes, homemade hummus, and melted mozzarella cheese, creating a sando with a smoky, cheesy, and tangy flavour profile that’s sure to delight.

  2. Ube Toast
    Making its debut on the sando menu, the Ube Toast introduces one of the most iconic Filipino ingredients, ube, to Panadera’s food offerings. This sweet sando features homemade ube jam generously spread on both sides of freshly baked Pandesal, with a slab of French butter for a melt-in-the-mouth sensation. It’s a sweet treat that perfectly balances richness and flavour, offering a new way to enjoy Panadera’s famed pandesal bread.

These sandos were developed by owner, Florence Mae Maglanoc, who drew on nostalgia and childhood snacks. Sweet pandesal combinations have always been a staple in Filipino cuisine, and the Ube Toast takes that tradition to another level of indulgence. Maglanoc ambitions to continue pushing the narrative of Filipino flavours and Ube in London with every concept, having opened Donia with its sensational Ube Choux, a modern Filipino restaurant last year to rave reviews.

Garlic Bread & Corned Beef Sando

Panadera Marylebone is also excited to give away 100 free drinks to our first 100 customers on opening day as a way of thanking everyone who has brought us this far! Expect these new sandos along with all of our cult favourite Corned Beef Hash, Chicken and Mushroom, Chicken Caesar and Egg Sandos. Pistachio Pandesal, Cheesy Garlic Pandesal along with our classic Ube Doughnuts will also be available!
